The Challange

Cheetah Marine tasked us with supporting the launch of its latest RIB, the R630, with the challenge of quickly communicating a new and unfamiliar proposition to the market. In a competitive sector with limited differentiation, the vessel introduced EV-ready infrastructure, an industry first, requiring clear and effective explanation to ensure its value was understood.

The Approach

Our approach centred on a feature-led product launch. We focused on clearly articulating the technical innovations that set the vessel apart, breaking down the design, engineering decisions, and future-facing capabilities.

 

 This was combined with dynamic on-water visuals that showcased the boat in action, creating a balance between detailed explanation and high-impact imagery. Together, this positioned the product as both innovative and practical within an evolving marine market.

The Results

We delivered a long form product video, formatted for multiple platforms, designed to showcase and explain the vessel’s key features in detail. The content played a central role in the product’s launch activity, supporting both the boat show debut and wider digital marketing. It generated strong social media engagement, creating international interest in the EV-ready concept, and established a bank of high-quality assets for use across product pages and ongoing campaigns. 

 

The project also gained exposure through multiple marine industry networks, including coverage in Marine Industry News, further reinforcing Cheetah Marine’s position as an innovator within the RIB market.
