The Challange
SailTeck approached us to bring their new GPS sailing compass to market and launch
themselves as a brand within the water sports technology space. SailTeck needed to
position the product as an accessible and user-friendly way to record and analyse
performance data, while also establishing the foundations for a broader platform spanning tracking and race management.
The Approach
The approach focused on building momentum ahead of the launch and sustaining it through the release. We produced a teaser campaign in advance of the RYA Dinghy Show to generate early interest and anticipation, creating a strong presence around the product at a key moment in the sailing calendar.
Following this short campaign, we developed a feature-led long-form video that clearly
articulated both the functionality of the SailTeck GPS unit and the brand’s wider vision,
including its developing race management capabilities, SailTeck LIVE, to be released later in
the year.
To maximise reach and impact, we implemented a ‘waterfall’ content strategy, repurposing the long-form film into a series of short-form assets. These were distributed across various platforms and used in conjunction with targeted advertising to reinforce key messages, drive traffic to the website, and ultimately support product sales.
The Results
The project increased visibility for Sailteck within the water sports technology market,
generating over 350,000 views online and continuing to build momentum. The teaser
campaign played a key role in launching the product, driving awareness and engagement at a critical moment. Alongside this, the project delivered a suite of high-quality, product page-ready assets and established a scalable content foundation to support future product development.
